RESOLUTION NUMBER 86-3858
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR
THE OPERATION OF THE SALINA BICENTENNIAL CENTER.
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the following rules and regulations adopted by the
Bicentennial Center Manager, pursuant to Ordinance Number 85-9099 are hereby
approved and ratified:
1. Smoking of any tobacco product in any form shall be
prohibited in the seating area of the Bicentennial
Center arena during public sports and entertainment
events. During those types of events, smoking will be
permitted in the arena concourse and lobby area. The
Bicentennial Center Manager shall have the authority to
suspend this prohibition for certain of said events.
2. The Bicentennial Center Manager or the Tenant shall
have the authority to impose temporary smoking
restrictions or prohibitions on any portion of the Center
when either deems it preferable, advisable, or in the
best interest of an event.
Section 2. The above rules and regulations shall be in full force and
effect from and after the publication of this resolution once in the official city
newspaper and filing copies thereof in the Office of the City Clerk and the
Bicentennial Center Manager.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
22nd day of September, 1986.
