RESOLUTION NUMBER 86-3854
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION AND FILING WITH
THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF A SMALL CITIES
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION FOR
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986; DESIGNATING
THE CITY MANAGER AS THE AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF
SALINA TO ACT IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPLICATION; AND TO PROVIDE
SUCH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
I Kansas:
Section 1. That the City of Salina, Kansas, prepare and file with the
Kansas Department of Economic Development an application for economic
development assistance under the small cities section of the Community
Development Block Grant Program for Federal fiscal year 1986.
Section 2. That the City Manager be designated as the applicant's
chief executive officer and authorized representative.
Section 3. That as the chief executive officer and authorized
representative of the applicant, the City Manager is hereby authorized to sign
and file the application, including all understandings, certifications, and
assurances contained therein, to act in connection with the application and to
provide such additional information as may be required.
Section 4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
28th day of July, 1986.
