RESOLUTION NUMBER 85-3817
A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN ADDITIONAL RULES AND
REGULATIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF THE SALINA BICENTENNIAL CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:. `"
Section 1. That the following additional rules and regulations adopted
by the Bicentennial Center manager, pursuant to Ordinance Number 85-9099 are
hereby approved and ratified:
1. No photographic, audio or visual recording
equipment shall be brought into the Bicentennial
Center without permission of the manager.
2. No advertising material, literature, notices,
invitations, gifts, samples, etc. , shall be
distributed or posted on the Bicentennial Center
premises, including the building, driveways,
streets and parking areas without permission of
the manager.
3. No selling, soliciting, promoting, recruiting,
campaigning, or lecturing in person, by recording
or by electronic relay shall be permitted on the
Bicentennial Center premises, including the
building, driveways, streets and parking areas
without permission of the Manager
4. Bicentennial Center staff, security personnel, and
police officers shall have the authority to disperse
crowds or order people to vacate the Bicentennial
Center premises, including the building,
driveways, streets, and parking areas at the
discretion of the manager.
5. Consumption of alcohol or cereal malt beverages on
the premises, including the building, driveways,
streets, and parking areas, without the prior
consent of the manager is prohibited.
Section 2. The above rules and regulations shall be in full force and
effect after, the publication of this Resolution one time in the official city
newspaper and filing copies thereof in the Office of the City Clerk and the
Bicentennial Center manager.
Section 3. The above rules and regulations are in addition to other
rules and regulations adopted by the Bicentennial Center manager and approved
by the Board of Commissioners.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
18th day of November, 1985.
