RESOLUTION NUMBER 85-3812
.. A RESOLUTION APPROVING CERTAIN RULES AND REGULATIONS FOF
THE OPERATION OF THE SALINA BICENTENNIAL CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. The following rules and regulations adopted by the
Bicentennial Center Manager, pursuant to Ordinance Number 85-9999 are hereby
approved and ratified:
1. No food or beverage shall be brought into the
Bicentennial Center without permission of the
Manager.
2. No cereal malt beverage shall be brought into the
Bicentennial Center without permission of the
Manager.
3. No alcoholic beverage shall be brought into the
Bicentennial Center without permission of the
Manager.
4. The Bicentennial Center Manager shall have the
authority to establish times for crowds to gather,
lines to form for ticket sales, or admittance to
any public event.
5. The Bicentennial Center Manager shall have the
authority to require ticket holders for public
entertainment events to submit to a visual check
of coats and containers, including handbags,
prior to admittance. Ticket holders refusing to
permit such a check will be given the option of
receiving a refund and leaving the building. Any
ticket holder refusing to permit such a check or
accepting a refund and leaving the building shall
be subject to arrest.
Section 2. The
above rules and regulations
shall be in
full

effect after the publication
of this Resolution once in
the official
city
newspaper
and filing copies thereof in the office of the City Clerk and the Bicentennia
Center Manager.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
21st day of October, 1985.
