85-3806 Finding Noncontiguous Annexation(Published .in The Salina Journal September ct; , 1985) RESOLUTION NUMBER 85-3806 A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE BOARD OF COUNTY .COMMISSIONERS TO MAKE FINDINGS ON A NONCONTIGUOUS ANNEXATION. BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That consideration be given to annexation of certain land to the City and that notice be issued and a public hearing be scheduled by adoption, publication and mailing of the following notice: TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS The Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas, deems it advisable to annex and make a part of the City the following described land, to-wit: The Northeast Quarter (NEk) of the Northwest Quarter (NWS) of Section One (1), Township Fifteen (15) South, Range Three (3) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, Less railroad right-of-way. owned by Dorris E. Winslow, Dorothy A. Winslow, and First National Bank and Trust Company of Salina, Trustees of the Anna M. Debold Trust, whose legal residence and post office address is P. 0. Box 839, Salina, Kansas. Said property owner has filed a petition for annexation, a copy of which is attached. The Board of County Commissioners is requested to make findings and notify the Governing Body of the City in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 12-520c.
