RESOLUTION NUMBER 85-3787
A RESOLUTION GIVING ASSURANCES THAT THE CITY OF SALINA
WILL PROPERLY MAINTAIN CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED WITH
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Salina will submit an application to the Kansas
Department of Economic Development seeking $400,000 in Community Development
Block Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, these funds are to be used for capital improvements in the
Salina central business district; and
WHEREAS, the City of Salina will be the owner of said improvements,
SO NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the City of Salina will properly maintain said
improvements performed with Community Development Block Grant Funds.
Section 2. That the City of Salina has provided assurance of adequate
long range financing of operating and maintenance costs associated with the
proposed project
and
has provided
estimates
of these
costs
and
funding sources.
Section
3.
That this
resolution
shall be
in
full
force and effect
from and after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
10th day of June, 1985.
