RESOLUTION NUMBER 85-3769
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO
JOHN WESLEY ESTES, JR. FOR SERVING AS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE CITY OF
SALINA, KANSAS FROM SEPTEMBER 21, 1946 TO APRIL 1, 1985.
WHEREAS, during the period from September 21, 1946 to April 1, 1985
JOHN WESLEY ESTES, JR. served as Rodman, Field Engineer, Street
Superintendent, Director of Services, and Director of General Services; and
WHEREAS, JOHN WESLEY ESTES, JR. has demonstrated invaluable and
dedicated service to the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of
the City of Salina are worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation
to JOHN WESLEY ESTES, JR, for his dedicated and faithful service as Rodman,
Field Engineer, Street Superintendent, Director of Services, and Director of
General Services be and the same is hereby entered upon the official records of
the' .City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this

resolution delivered to JOHN WESLEY ESTES, JR. r
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
