Kansas 1 I - 1 RESOLUTION NUMBER 88-3988 BUREAU OF RURAL AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT REQUEST FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT WHEREAS, the Secretary of Transportation of the State of Kansas, hereinafter referred to as the Secretary, has been designated as agent for the City of Salina under an agreement dated 1988, or WHEREAS, the Secretary will be designated as Agent for the City of Salina under an agreement to be executed, and WHEREAS, the Federal -Aid Highway Act of 1956, as amended, and subsequent acts and amendments, provided Federal -aid funds to assist the counties, cities, and other political subdivisions in improving their roads and streets, and WHEREAS, the City of Salina desires to improve a certain portion of their road or street system and is more fully described hereinafter, SO NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That the Secretary is hereby requested to program for construction that portion of Local 425400854833914 bridge, located at Oakdale Park and which includes Grading X, Culverts X, Storm Sewer X, Bridges X, Surfacing X, and/or other improvements. The ESTIMATED costs of such improvements are as follows: Grading/Culverts/Storm Sewer $11,000 Bridges: Length 138 ft. 290,000 Surfacing: Type Concrete Pavement 21,000 Surveys and plans (if not requested indicate NONE) NONE Right of way" (if not requested indicate NONE) NONE ESTIMATED Total for Project $322,100 Surveys and plans will be prepared by Mid -Continent Engineers BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds of the City of Salina are .now, or will be., available and are hereby pledged to the Secretary in the amount and at the time required for the supplementing of federal funds available for the completion of this project.
