RESOLUTION NUMBER 88-3957
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION FOR
SERVICES RENDERED BY. WILLIAM E. HARRIS AS ACTING CITY MANAGER,
FROM SEPTEMBER 1987 TO FEBRUARY 1988.
:WHEREAS, during the past several months, William E. Harris, in his
capacity as Acting City Manager, has rendered invaluable and dedicated service
to the City of Salina, Kansas through his administrative leadership, skill and
professionalism, and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his work, to the best
interests of the City of Salina and to the well-being of all, its citizens is worthy
of the widest public recognition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the
City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to
William E. Harris for his effective and dedicated service as Acting City Manager
' be hereby made and spread upon the official records of the City of Salina,
IKansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk be hereby directed to have this
Resolution framed appropriately and delivered to William E. Harris.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
22nd day of February, 1988.
