RESOLUTION NUMBER 88-3955
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT IT IS NECESSARY THAT THE
CITY OF SALINA ACQUIRE CERTAIN FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS TO PAY
THE COST THEREOF.
IKansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section I. That it is hereby determined that it is necessary to
acquire the following fire fighting equipment for the use of the Fire Department
l of the City of Salina, Kansas, to -wit:
One Mid-size Four Door Cab Rescue Truck.
One - 1500 G.P.M. Custom Fire Pumper
Section 2. That the City of Salina, Kansas, will acquire the above
described fire equipment at a cost of not to exceed $350,000.
Section
3.
That it is
the intention
of the City
of
Salina, Kansas,
to
pay for the cost
of
the above
mentioned fire
equipment
by
the issuance of
its
General Obligation Bonds, maturing not more than 15 years from their date, all
as provided for by K.S.A. 12-110C.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish this
resolution and also to publish a notice of the intention of the City of Salina,
Kansas, to issue its General Obligation Bonds as above provided.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
1st day of February, 1988.
