RESOLUTION NUMBER 87-3936
A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE KIRMA MEMBERSHIP CONTRIBUTION
COMMITMENT.
WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into an interlocal
cooperation agreement with other cities to form the Kansas Intergovernmental
Risk Management Agency, known as KIRMA; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the City does hereby agree to join KIRMA as a
contributing member and to appropriate as a membership fee the sum of not more
than four hundred twenty-nine thousand five hundred eighty-four dollars'
($429,584) for the risk coverage protection and risk management services to be
provided to the City by KIRMA for the year 1988.
Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that since this appropriation
is for benefits and services to be provided to the City for the calendar year
1988, it shall be accounted for as a 1988 budget expense and a 1988
expenditure.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Mayor this
16th day of November, 1987.
