RESOLUTION NUMBER 89-4130
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLIC NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR
VACATION OF A PORTION OF NORTH FIFTH STREET, A PUBLIC STREET,
FROM MULBERRY CREEK BRIDGE NORTH TO INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 70.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk by
Marie Hahn Wauhob, petitioner, requesting the vacation of a segment of a North
Fifth Street, a public street, from Mulberry Creek bridge north to Interstate
Highway 70, SO NOW, THEREFORE
Kansas:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina,
Section 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to give public
notice as required by K.S.A. 12-504 stating that the petition has been filed for
such vacation of a portion of North Fifth Street, a public street, from Mulberry
Creek Bridge north to Interstate Highway 70, describing the property fully, and
stating that the petition will be presented to the Governing Body of the City for
a hearing on October 23, 1989, and that at such time and place all persons
interested can appear and be heard under the petition.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioenrs and signed by the Mayor this
9th day of October, 1989.
