ORDINANCE.. NO.., _1738._
An ordinance fixing the time of meetings of the City Council,
and repealing Ordinance No. 123, passed and.opproved April 21, 1874.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the regular meetings of the City Council of
the City of Salina shall be held on the first and third Monday night
of every month, at 8 o'clock P. M., during the months from April to
October, and 7:30 P. M., during the moxiths from October to April.
Sec. 2. That all monthly claims against the City shall be paid
after same have been approved by the Claims and Expenditure Committee,
on the third Monday night -of each month.
Sec. 3. That Ordinance No. 123, passed and approved April 21,
1874, and being an ordinance entitled,."An ordinance fixing the time
of meeting of the City Council", be and the same is hereby repealed.
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
