An Ordinance defining the fire limits ,of the. city of Salina,
Kansas, and"repealing Ordinance No. 1522„.passed and
approved October 181 1909. .
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That all that,portion or portions of the
city of Salina, comprised within the following metes and bounds
shall be known and designated as the "fire limits” of said city ani
within which no bui;lding shall be constructed except of brick,
stone or other incombustible material, with fire -proof roof, to -vi
Commencing at the north west corner of Lot Number Two (2) on
Santa Fe Avenue, running thence east to the northeast corner of
Lot NQ. One (1) on Santa Fe Avenue; thence south to the northeast
corner of Lot:No. Forty -mine (49) on said Santa Fe Avenue; thence
east to the northeast corner of Lot No. Fifty (50) on Fourth
street; thence south to the southeast cIrner of Lot NO. One
Hundred twenty-six (126) on Fourth street; thence west to the
southeast corner of Lot No. One hundred twenty -Five (125) on Fifth
steeet; thence south to the southeast corner of Lot No. One
hundred thirty0seven.(137) on Fifth street; thence west to the
southwest corner of Lot No. One Hundred thirty-eight (138) on
. S-eventh street; thence north to the southeast corner of Lot No,
One Hundred Eleven (111) on Eighth street thence west to the
southwest corner of said Lot No. One Hundred eleven (lll) Eighth
street, thence north to the northwest corner of Lot No. One
hundred three (103) on Eighth street; thence east to the southeast
corner of Lot No. One hundred One (101) on Eighth street; thence
north to the southeast corner of Lot No. Seventy-seven (77) on
Eighth street; thence west to the southwest corner of said Lot
77, Eighth street; thence north to the northwest corner of Lot No.
Seventy-five (25) on Eighth street; thence east to the southwest
corner of Lot No. Seventy four (74) on Santa Fe Avenue; thence
north to the.place of beginning; Also Commencing at the southeast
corner of.Lot No. (2) on Twelfth street, in Weaver's Second addition
thence west along the north line of an alley to its intersection
with the right of way of the Missouri Pacific railroad; thence in
a northeasterly and easterly direction along the south line of
said right of way to the west line of Eleventh street, in Weavers
addition to the city of Salina; thence south along said west line
of said Eleventh street to the southeast corner of Lot N0. Four
(4) on Eleventh street, Weaver's addition; thence west along the
south line of said Lot No. Four (4) to the west line of Twelfth
street, thence north to the place of beginning; Also: Lots Fifty -

-Seven. (57) Fifty-eight (58), Fifty-nine (59), Sixty (60), Sixty -One
(61) and Sixty -tiro (62) on Tenth street, and,Lots Sixteen (16), Seventeen
(17) and Eighteen (18) on N&nth street, in Bishop's addition to the City
of Salina:
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1522, passed and approved
October 18, 1909; being an ordinance entitled "an ordinance defusing the
fire limits of•the city of Salina, kansas, and repealing Ordinance
numbered 910 and 1246, and all ordinance and partz of Ordinance in conflict
with this ordinance", be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in foree
from and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
