An. ordinancerpvidirg for the co- struction of street crossin gs
in the city of Salina, and letting the contract thereof.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the following described street crossings
shall be built and constructed in the city of Salina, to -wit:
,:est side of highland across Wilson street;
West side of Highland avenue across Bond street;

South side of Jewell avenue across Osborne street;
South side of Grand avenue across Seventh street;
South side of Grand avenue across Eighth street;
South side of Grand avenue across Tenth street;
South side of Grand avenue aurnss Eleventh street;
South side of Grand avenue across Twelfth street;
South side of Grand avenue across Thirteenth street;
North side of Decatur avenue across Eighth street;

North side of Decatur avenue across Seventh street;
I'dest side of Eighth street across Decatur avenue;
West side of Ninth street across Woodland avenue;
North side of Pacific street across Fifth street;
and that such street crossings shall be built and constructed in
accordance with the plans and specifications there for made and
prepared bIT the City engineer now on file in his office.
Section 2. That a contract be and is hereby let to
Aug O1'sson of Salina, Kansas, for the construction of the street
crossings described in section One hereof, at and for the price
of Nineteen (19) cents per square foot for brick crossings and
u1.35 each for cement headers for same said prices to include
all excavating, tamping and labor and all material necessary to
co.,pletc such worm: Provided, that the Committee on Streets and
alleys of the council may, with the consent of said .-"-ug Olsson and
other street crossings to the list of hose described in said
section one hereof, providing said contractor will build and
construct the same at the same price mentioned herein for crossings
and headers and in the manner and form herein and in said plans
and specifications provided; Provided further that the contract
hereby let shall be completed in Linty (90) days from the date

the performance of such contract, a good and sufficient bond),

inthe sum of X400.00 conditioned that he will construct
such crossings in accordance with such plan; and specifications
and that such crossing,, when completed, will be and remain
in a good serviceable condition for a period of at least one
year after completition of the same.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its publication once in the Salina
Evening Journal.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the following described street crossings shall be
built and constructed in the city of Salina, to-ri't:
