2674 Approriations____ ____ORDINANC.E__NQ.._267_4 . An Ordinance making an appropriation for the purchase of time certificates of deposit from the Sinking Fund of the City of Salina, Kansas. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of '-�omrfiissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: . Section 1.- That the sum of $15,000.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Sinking Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Sal-ina,.Kansas for the invest- ment in certificates of deposit in the various.banks of the.City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time from six -months to twelve months, and drawing four (4%) per cent interest per annum. Section 2. That the Director of the Department of Finance be and he is hereby directed to.issue warrants,.countersigned by the.City Manager upon the City Treasurer forithepurpose and amoutt specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance. That the sum of `$x'15,000.00 be and the same' 'is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Sinking Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas for the investment in certificates of deposit in the various banks of the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time from six months to twelve months, and drawing four (40) per cent interest per annum. Section 2. That the Director of the Department of Finance be and he is hereby directed to issue warrants, counter- signed by the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the purpose and amount specified in Section One (1) of this ordi- nance.
