An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
'BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section l.' That the/sum of $12,832.40 be and the
same is hereby appropriated to the Smith -Graham Construction
Company from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the
City'Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the pay-
ment of the final 15 per cent of the contract price for
the contract of constructing certain.curbing, guttering,
excavating, grading and paving in the City of Salina,
Kansas according to*the City Enginee.r'.s.final Estimate on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City, PROVIDED
HOINEVFR, that said amount shall not be actually paid over
until after notification to the Fidelity and Deposit Company,
of Maryland in conformity to the terms of the faithful per-
formance bond. concerning said work.
Seetion`2. The Director of the Department of Finance
is hereby authorized'to issue a warrant countersigned by
the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the payment of
the claim mentioned in Section 1 of this ordinance.
lection 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
