BE IT ORDAINED'by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $7.,292.1.1 `.be and the, same
is hereby appropriated.tothe Smith -Graham Construction Com-
pany from the Special"Paving Fund in the Viands of the City
Treasurer for the payment of"85% of the contract price for
the cost of`°'excavating and paving Street Railway 'Wracks on
Santa Fe Avenue from Walnut Street to 238 feet south of
-South Street, according to City Engineer's Estimate -Number
9-A on file in the office of'..the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2.. That scrip for the amount specified in
Section One (1) of'this ordinance be'drawn on.the City Treas-
urer for the payment of said.claim, scrip to be made payable
on or before April 1st, 1923, and to bear interest at the
rate of.3 % per annum.
Section 3.' This ordinance shall take .effect and be in
full force from and after its adoption.
