claim.
BE IT ORDAINED "by the Commissioners of .,the City of Salina, Kansas:,
Section.l. That the -sum of $18,332.60 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to the Snaith Graham Construction Company
from, the Special Paving ,Fund'". in the hands " of the! City Treasurer
for the payment-of"85% of -the contract price for the .cost of
curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving -Elm Street
from"'Front Street to 6moky'Hil1 River Bridge, Eleventh Street
from Iron Avenue to State Street, Twelfth`Street from State Street
to Ash Street, Portion of:Walnut Street west of.Smoky Hill
Bridge and-Parking'at Twelfth'Street and':Bishop'Street, according
to the City Erigineer's' Estimate N.o.-8-A on file in _the office of
the .City "Clerk "'in said City.
Section 2. That scrip for the amount specified. in Section
1 of this ordinance be dram on the. City Treasurer for the payment
of said claim, said'serip to be made payable on -or before April
lst, 1923 and' -to bear interest at the, rate of 3bo per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its adoption.

City Treasurer for the payment of 85 -percent of the
contract price for the cost of curbing, guttering,
