An Ordinance making -'ah appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $21,908.58 be and the
same is hereby -appropriated out of the moneys from the 1923
Bonds and Coupons Fund in the hands of the. City Treasurer
for the payment to E. T. Thompson, State Treasurer and
Fiscal Agent of bonds, coupons and commission due January
1st, 1923. -
Section 2'. That the Director of the Department of
Finance be and he is hereby -author-ized- to issue a warrant
countersigned by'the City Manager upon the City Treasurer
payable on but not before January ist; 1923 in payment of
the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.
