An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas,:
Section 1. That the sum of $4,543.49 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction Company
from the -Special Paving Fund in the hands of the. City Treasurer
for the payment of 85% of the contract price for the cost of
curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving Elm Street
from Penn Avenue to Columbia Avenue, according to City Engineerls
Estimate Number 7-A on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City.
Section 2. That scrip for the amount specified in Section
One (1) of this ordinance be drawn on the City Treasurer for the
payment of said claim, said claim, said scrip to be made payable
on or before April lst, 1923, and to bear interest at the rate of
Wk, per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its adoption.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners'of.the City of
