An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of -a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners. of the City, of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $12,005.68 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The,Smith-Graham Construction

Company from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the
City Treasurer for the payment of 85% of the contract price
for the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating, grading
and paving Elm Street from, Columbia Avenue to Des Moines
Avenue, according to City Engineer's Estimate Number 6-A
on file in the office of.the_City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. Thatscrip for the amount specified in
Section One (1) .of this ordinance be drawn on the City
Treasurer for the payment of said,claim, said scrip to
be made payable on or before April lst, 1923, and to
bear interest at the rate of 3-h% per annum.
Section 30 `Phis ordinance shall take effect and be
in full.force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.

Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 012,005.88.be and the same
