2619 Prohibiting Wooden Runways- ORDINANCE-NO-.--26.19­-- (Published -9-- (Published in the Salina Evening Journal, 1 1 An Ordinance prohibiting the use of wooden runways or culverts attached to the curb and projecting into the street and on the pavement or along any public street or thor- oughfare of -the City of Salina, Kansas and providing a penalty for the violation thereof. BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to place or use, or to permit, cause or allow to be placed or used any wooden culvert or runway attached to the curb on or along any public street or thoroughfare in the City of Salina, Kansas and which projects into any such street or thoroughfare and onto the pavement thereof, the culvert or runway herein referred to being such as is commonly used for the purpose of driving automobiles,or other vehicles over the curb when no driveway entrance is cut into said curb. Section 2. That any person who shall violate the pro- visions of the preceding section of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and uppon"_conviction thereof shall be fined in an amount not to exceed Fifty ($50.00) Dollars. Section 3. This .ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its publication once in the official. City paper. Introduced for first reading, November 13th, 1922.
