An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $5,010.69 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to the Smith -Graham Construction Com-
pany from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City
Treasurer of.the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of
850 of the contract price for the cost of excavating and
paving Elm Street from the east line of Third Street to the
west line of Second -Street, and also the intersection of
Second Streot and Elm Street according to the City Engineeros
estimate No. 2-A on file in the office -of the City Clerk of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas
be drawn upon the City Tresurer of said City for the amount
specified in Section One (1.) of this ordinance, said scrip
to be made payable on or before April 1st, 1923, and to bear
interest at the
rate of
3f% per
annum.
Section 3.
This
ordinance
stall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

Be it ordained by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina Ids
Kansas:
Section 1 --That the sum of $5olo.69 be and the same is hereby
appropriated to the Smith Graham Construction Co.from the special

Section 2 --That scrip of the City of Salina Kansas be drawn
upon the City Treasurer of said City for the, anount specified
in Section One (1) of this ordinance,said scrip to be made
payab;e on or before April 1st 1923,and to bear interest at
the rate of 31/2% per annum.
Section 3 --This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from after its passage.
