An Ordinance making an'appropriation for, the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,101.59 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction -Com-
pany from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of
85% of the contract price for the cost of curbing and gutter-
ing Johnstown Avenue from Front Street to Oakdale Avenue.accord-
ing to City Engineer's estimate No. 1-A on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas
be drawn upon the City Tresaurer of said City for the amount
specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip
to be made payable on or before April 1_st, 1923.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.

ber 20th, 1922; and that a record of the vote on its final
adoption is found on Page DO 9 - of Journal No. 10.

An Ordinance snaking an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE. IT ORDAINED by the Board of Cosmmissioners of the City
of Salina , Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of �"p1,101.59 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction.
Company from the Special paving Fund in the hands of the
City Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment
of 85% of the contract price for the cost of curbing and
guttering Johnstown Avenue from Front Street to Oakdale
Avenue according to City Engineer's estimate No. 1-A on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of -Salina, Kansas

to be made payable on or before April lst 1823.
and to bear interest at the mate of 51/? -c --perry per annum.
