An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Comr!iissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas: °
Section 1. That the sum of �p7,053.96 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction
Company from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the
City Treasurer of the Cityjlof Salina, Kansas for the pay-
ment of the final 10% of the contract price for the cost of
constructing certain curbing, guttering, excavating,
grading and paving in the City of Salina, Kansas, accord-
ing to the Ci#y Engineer's ;;final estimate on file in the
office of the City Clerk. of said City.
Section 2. The Director of the Department of Finance
is hereby authorized to issue a warrant countersigned by
the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the payment
of the claim mentioned in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinIance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.
