An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 612,439.99 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction Com-
pany from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of
:90% of the contract price for the cost of curbing, guttering,
.excavating, grading and paving OHIO STREET from Iron Avenue
to Ash Street according to City _e'ngineer's estimate Number
Ten (10) on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas
be drawn upon the City Treasurer of said City for the amount
specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip
to be payable on or before October lst, 1922 and to bear
interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect.and be in
full force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making'an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the .City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $12,439.99 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction Company from
the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer of the
City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 90 o of the contract price
for the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating, grading and paving
OHIO STREET from Iron Avenue to Ash Street according to City
Engineers estimate Number (10) on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said.City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
drawn upon the City Treasurer of said City for the amount specified
in Section One (1) of this ordinance; said scrip to be payable on
or before 04,vtob&,er lst, 1922 and to bear interest at the rate of
6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its passage.
