An ordinance making an appropriation for'the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED -by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 748,377.51 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction
Company from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City
Treasurer of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 90J
-of the contract price for the cost of curbing, guttering, ex -
cavorting, grading and paving BAKER STREET from Vialnut to South
Street according to City Engineerls estimate Number (9) on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
dral>>rn upon the City Treasurer of said City for the amount speci-
fied in Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be pay-
able on or before September 1st, 1922 and to bear interest at
the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3. 'This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain

BE IT ,ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:

is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction Company
from the Special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasur-
er of the City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 9001 of
the contract price for the cost of curbing, guttering., excavat-
ing., grading and paving BA-KiER SmEET from Walnut Street to
Sa��r Street according to City Engineer's estimate Number (-9-)
on f ile in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas
be drawn upon the City Treasurer of said City for the amount
specified in Section One (1) of this. ordinance, said scrip to
be payable on or before September lst , 1922 and to . bear inter-
est at the rate of 6% per annum,
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and -be in
full force from and after itis passage.
