An Ordinance making an appropriation.for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1.. That the sum of X11,271.50 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to the Smith -Graham Construction Company
from the special Paving Fund for the payment of 90% of the con-
trsct for the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating, grading,
and paving of Bond Street from Highland Avenue to Ninth Street, and
Crawford Ave,_ from Santa Fe Avenue to Fifth Street, according
to City Engineer's estimate Number Sever (7) on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
drawn on the City Treasurer of said City for the amount specified
in Section'One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be payable
on or before-eptember 1st, 1922 and to bear interest at the rate
of s ix a (6) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its .passage.
