NANCE NO. 2554
An Ordinande making an appropriation for thepayment of a certain
claim. .
BE IT ORDhNED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kan sas :
Section 1.That the sum of $11,256.53 be and the same
is hereby ap pr ipriat ed to the Smith -Graham Construction Company
from the special paving fund in the hands of the City Treas- \
urer of the City of Salina., Kansas for the payment of 90% of
he contract price for the cost of curbing, guttering, excava-
ting and paving REPUBLIC AVENUE from. Santa Fe Avenue to Fifth
Street and Highland Avenue to Ninth Street, according to the
City Engineert s estimate Number Five on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
Section
2.
That scrip of the
City
of Salina, Kansas
be drawn on the
City
Treasurer of said
City
for the amount
specified in Section 1 of this ordinance, said scrip to be
payable on or before September 1st, 1922 and to bear inter-
est at the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3.! This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salinas
Kansas*
Section 1. Thgt the sum of $112256.53 be and the same is
hereby appropriated to the Smith -Graham Construction Company from
the special Paving Fund, in the hands of the City 'Treasurer of the
City of Salina, Kansas for the payment of 90% of the contract
.price for the cost of curbing, guttering, excavating and paving
REPUBLIC AVENUE from Santa Fe Avenue to Fifth Street and from Highland
Avenue to Ninth Street, according to City Engineer's estimate
Number five on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
.Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
_. drawn on the City Treasurer of said City for the amount specified in
Section One (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be payable on or
before Septembeer lst, 1922 and to bear interest at the rate of. six
(6) per cent per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take and be in full
force frau and after its passage.
