An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a certain
claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $119572.49 be and the same is
hereby appripriated to -the Smith -Graham Construction Company from
the -special Paving Fund in the hands of the -.City Treasurer
of the City of Salina, Kansas, for the payment of 90% of the
contract price for the cost of curbing, -guttering$ excavating and
paving NINTH'"STREET' from Republic Avenue to Minneapolis Avenue
according to City Engineer's estimate Number Four (4) on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be
drawn on the City Treasurer of said City for the amount specified
in Section one, (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be payable on
or before September lst, 1922 and to bear interest at the rate of
6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
fall force from and after its passage.
