An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section l.' That the sum of $11,443.02 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construet.ion Company
from the special Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer
for the payment of"90% of the contract price for the cost
of excavating, grading and paving State.;Street from Twelfth
Street to College Avenue, according to the City Engineer's
Estimate Number Two (2) on file in the office of ,the City -
Clerk of said City.
Section 2. Ttiat scrip of the City of Salina, Kansas be -
drawn on the City Treasurer of Salina, Kansas for the amount speci-
fied in Section One, (1) of this ordinance, said scrip to be
payable on or before September 1st, 1922 and to bear interest at
the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.
Passed and approved, July 10th, 1922.

BE IT ORDAINED by The Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of 11,443.02 be and the same
is hereby appropriated to The Smith -Graham Construction Com-
pany from the special Paving Fund in the hands of the City
Treasurer for the payment of 90% of the contract price for
