An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of a
certain claim.
,BE IT ORDAINED by the Board' of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the, sum of $10,163.87 be and the
same is hereby appropriated' to the Smith -Graham Construction
Company from the special Paving Fund in the hands of the
City Treasurer for the payment of 90% of the contract price
in the cost of excavating and grading and paving State.
Street from Ninth Street to Eleventh Street, according
to the City Engineer's Estimate Number One (1) on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
Section 2. That scrip of the City of Salina, Kans-
as be drawn on.the City Treasurer of Salina, Kansas for the
amount specified in Section,One (1) of this -ordinance, said
scrip to be payable on or before September 1st, 1922 and to
bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from andaf ter its passage.
