Section 2. The Director of the Departi.,,,erit of Finance is
hereby autho . rizdd to . iissue a warrant, countersigned by the City
Manager upon the City Treasurer fear the purpose and aLnount speci-
fied in Section one (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its passage.

ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance making an.appropriation for the payment of
a certain claim.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $872.60 be and the
same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the
Military Monument Fund in the City Treasury of the City
of Salina, Kansas for the payment of the following claim:
Chas. W. Shaver, Balance due on contract for
architectural services on Memori-
al Hall, said contract bearing
date of November 2nd, 1921 .....4,872.60
Section 2. The Director of the Department of
Finance is hereby authorized to issue a warrant, counter-
signed by the City Manager upon the City.Treasurer for the
purpose and amount specified in Section One (1) of this
ordinance.
Section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.
