An Ordinance relating to and providing for the levyiying and
and collection of a license"tax upon the business of those
vending, hawking,'or peddling -ice cream or ice cream cones
within the City of'Salina, Kansas and providing a penal-
-ty for the violation hereof.
BE IT ORDAINED BY.the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That every person,'firm or corporation which
shall either as principal: or agent conduct, operate or carry
on in the City of Salina the business of vending, hawking or
peddling ice cream or ice cream cones shall first obtain a
license therefor from the City Clerk of the City of Salina and
shall pay to said City Clerk,prior to the issuance of said li-
cense the sum of($10.00) Ten Dollars for each vehicle used as an
annual license fee therefor.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof in the police court shall be -fined in any
sum not exceeding One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars.
Section 3. This ordinance shall flake effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper.
