BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the right of my be and the same is
hereby granted to the,Union Pacific Railroad Company, its sue-
oessors and assigns to build, maintain and operate* a switch
track and to run its trains., engines and.cars thereon from a
connection with -its railroad on Fourth Street; north-of,Ash
Street., in a northwesterly and westerly direction, over and
across Fourth Street, over ,and 'across the alleys between Fourth
and Fifth Streets and over and across Fifth Street, to.: -the east
line of Santa Fe..Avenae in said.City of.Salina.
Section 2..Said right of way is granted to said Railroad
Company.subjeet to all th6 conditions., specifications ... and re-
gulations mentioned and's.et forth in Ordinance Number_1941 of
the City of.Salina., Kansas. 1. I. 1 4
Section 3.. This ordinance is passed as a substitute for
and to correct Ordinance Number 1171, passed and approved Janu-
ary 19th, 1903, granting the aforesaid right of way,'todthe Union
Pacificcompany.

-Section 4. This ordinance when accepted shall operate as
a contract between said Railroad Company and said City.:
Section 5e That Ordinance Number 1171 passed and -approved
January 19th, 1903 be and the same.is hereby repealed.
.section 6. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after Its publication once in the official
City paper.

ORDINANCE NO.
An Ordinance granting the right of way to the Union Pacific
'Railroad Company, its successors and assigns, for a switch
track on and across certain streets and alleys in the City
of Salina, Kansas and repealing Ordinance Number 1171.-

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the right of way be and the same is
hereby granted to the Union Pacific Railroad Company, its suc-
cessors and assigns to build, maintain and operate a switch
track and to run its trains, engines and cars thereon from a
connection with its railroad on Fourth Streetnorth of Ash
Street, in a northwesterly and westerly direction, over and
across Fourth Street, over and across the alleys between Fourth
and Fifth Streets and over and across Fifth Street, to the east
line of Santa Fe Avenue in said City -of Salina.
Section 2. Said right of way is granted to said Rail-
road Company subject to all the conditions, specifications and
regulations mentioned and set forth in Ordinance Number 1941 of
the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 3. This ordinance is passed as a substitute for
and to correct Ordinance Number 1171, passed and approved, Janu-
ary 19th, 1903, granting the aforesaid right of way to the Union
Pacific Railway:'. Company.
Section 4. This ordinance when accepted shall operate as
