An Ordinance extending the corporate limits or the City of Salina,
Kansas.
WHEREEAS, the tract or parcel of land included within the
following metes and bounds to -wit:
Commencing at the 1lortheast corner of the Vortheast
Quarter of.' Section Twenty -Three (23), Township Fourteen (14),
south of Range Three (3) west of the sixth principal meridian
in §aline County, Kansas, thence South 2642 feet to the south-
east corner of said quarter section, thence west 1130 feet,
thence north 2642 feet, thence east to the place of beginning,
lies within .or mainly within the corporate limits of the City
of Salina, Kansas. Now, Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED By the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas;V.
Section 1. That all of that part of the northeast
quarter of Section Twenty-three (23), Township Fourteen (14)
Range Three (3) west of the sixth Principal Meridian in Saline
County, Kansas, and lying within the following metes and bounds
to -wit:
"Commencing at the northeast corner of said quarter sec-
tion, thence South 2642 feet to the southeast corner of said
quarter section, thence West 1130 feet, thence North 2642 feet,
thence East 1130 feet, be.ond the same is hereby added to, tak-
en into and made a part of the -City of Salina, Kansas, and the
limits of said City be and they are hereby extended so as to'
include and embrace the same. '
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper, on Jvtay 5, 1922.
