An Ordinanceestablishingand defining the bounds and limits
of certain 'Sewer Zones - within- the City of - Salina, Kan-
sas, for'th6purp6sb of providing more convenient
f onn' ' of re-f6rericb--upoh the books of said City to any
lateral sewer district of said City created or hereafter
created therein.
WHEREAS., it is necessary from time to time to create.,
establish and' define certain- lateral sewer districts within
the City of Salina., Kansas, and
?1HEREAS, itis necessary in'order to afford a more con-
veniont.fbrm of-reference'upon the books of said City to said
lateral sewer districts created brio be hereafter created,
that-said-City'bb'divided into sewer zones, respectively estab-
lished and defined, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commiss'ioners of the City of
Salina., Kansas:
Section 1. sewer 'Zone "A" -is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"All thatportionof the Ci'ty'bf.S*alina lying north
of the center line of North Street -and bounded on -
the we..st',_north'anal east' by the corporate limits of
the City of Salina, Kansas."
Section 2. Sewer Zone "B" is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"Commencing at the intersection of North Street and
Ninth Street; thence along the center line of North
-Street t6'the center-jin6- ' of-Ohib Street; thence
south along Ohio -Street to of the Smoky
Hill River; -thence -along the center of said Smoky
.Hill River In a westerly direction to'the intersection
of Ash Street and the Smoky Hill River; thence west
on the center line of -Ash -Street -to the center line
of Ninth'Street;'thence north along the center line of
Ninth Street to the place of beginning.."
Section 3. Sewer Zone "01r is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"Com.meheing-at theintersectionof North Street and
the west cbrporatetlimits of the City; thence East
along the center of -'North Streettothe center line
of Ninth Street; -then6b South along the center of"-'
ninth Street to th6'center of South Street; thence
West al6hg-the center line of South Street -to the
west corporate limits of the City; thence,in a north-
erly direction along the corporate limits of the City
to,the place of,beginning."
Section 4. sewer Zone PD" is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of gfound
to -wit:
"Commending at'the intersection of Ninth and Ash
Streets; thence east along the center line of Ash
Street to -the center line of the Smoky Hill River;
thence along the center line of the Smoky Hill River
in a southerly direction to the center line of'South
Street; thence west along the center line of South
Street to the center line of Ninth Street; thence
North along the center line of Xinth Street to the
place of beginning-"

Section 5. Sewer Zone "Et' is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"Commencing At the intersection of Delaware Avenue
and the Smoky Hill River; thence south on Delaware
Avenue to Gypsum -Avenue, thence -west on Gypsum Aven-
ue t6-'Kazi6as Avenue; thence south on.'Kansas Avenue
to the Smoky Hill River; thence i.southivesterly along
the Smoky Hill River to the north line of Oakdale
Park; thence West along said north line of Oakdale
Park to Oakdale Drive; thence north along said Oak-
dale Drive to alnut Street and the intersection of

Section 7. Sewer zone "G" is hereby established and
composed of the following lots, blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"All that portion of the City lying south of the
center line of Re*oublic Avenue, bounded on the East,
South and Viest by the corporate limits of the City
of -"Salina."
Section 8. Sewer Zone "H" is hereby established and
composed of the following lots blocks and parcels of ground
to -wit:
"All that portion -of theCityknown and described
as Oakdale Park and Kenwood Park."
section 9. Nothing herein contained shall be held or
construed to establish, define or fix the boundary of or estab-
lish any main., intercepting or lateral sewer district whatsoever
in said City, nor to repeal any ordinance fixing or establishing
any main, intercepting or lateral sewer district therein.
Section 10. This ordinance shall. take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper/
