ORDINANCE NO.. 2438
An Ordinance' milking an_ appropriation for the purchase of
time certificates-bf-*depobit-from the Sinking Fund
of the City of Salina, Kansas. ,
.BE IT -ORDAINED by the Board of Commissibner's of the .City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the sum of $24,000.00 be and the
same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Sink-
ing Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas,
for the investment in certificates of deposit in the various
banks of the City of Salina Kansas renging in time from
six -months to twelve months, and drawing four (4%) per cent
interest per annLuji*
Section 2. The Director of the Department of Finance'
is hereby authorized to issue warrants,, countersigned by
the City Manager upon the City Treasurer for the purpose and
amount specified in Section One (1) of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage.

An Ordinance making an appropriation for the purchase of

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina., Kansas;

same is hereby appropriated out of the moneys from the Sink-
ing Fund in the City Treasury of the City of Salina, Kansas,
for the investment in certificates of deposit in. the various
banks of,the City of Salina, Kansas, ranging in time from
six months to twelve months, and drawing four (4%) per cent
interest per annum.
