BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 1. That the salaries or compensations of the vari- ous officers and employees of the City of Salina, Kansas, from and after the 16th day of .January, 1922 shall be as follows, payable -semi-monthly: Section 2... The City Manager -shall receive the sum of $539000.00 per annum; City Clerk $1620.00,per annum; Secretary to City Manager'and Bookkeeper $1320.00 per.annum; City Treasur- er X400.00 per annum; Caretaker of Dump Grounds $300,00 per an- num, which shall.be in full compensation for all services rend- ered. Section 3. The City Attorney shall receive $1500.00 per an- num; and Police judge $900.00 per annum, which shall be in full compensation for all services rendered. Section 4. Building Custodian $1200.00 per annum, which shall be in full compensation for all services rendered. ,Section 5. The Chief of Police shall receive $1680.00 per annum; Assistant Chief of -Police $156:glOO per . annum; Plain Clothesmen $1380.00 per annum; Patrolmen $1380.00 per annum; Desk Sergeants $12.00.00 per annum -which shall be in full com- pensation for all services rendered,. Section 6., The Chief of Fire-Uepartment shall receive X1500.40 per annum; Assistant Chief of Fire Department $1260.00 per ani; Mechanic $1320.00 per annum; Firemen of the first- class$1200.00 per annum; giremen of the second class $980.00 per annum, which shall be in full compensation for all services rendered. Section 7. The City Engineer and --Sanitary and Health Of- ficer sha11 receive $3000.00 per annum; Helper $4.00 per day, which shall be in.full.compensation for all services rendered. Section 8. The Superintendent of Streets shall receive the sum of $1320.00 per annum which shall be in full compensa- tion for his services. Foremen for street work shall receive the sum of 45¢ per hour; workmen with team. shall receive the sum of 75� per hour; laborers on the street shall receive the sum of 45� per hour, except laborers cleaning; street with brooms, shovel and cart, who shall receive the sum of $3.20 per day. Section 9. The Superintendent -of Parks, -,shall -receive $1200400'per annum; laborers 45¢ per hour, which -shall be in full compensation for all services rendered. Section 10. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and.the-s...ame are hereby repealed. Section Zine. The Superintendent Of Parks shall receive X1200.00 per annum; laborers 45� pe- hoar, Y which shall be in fall compensation for all services rendered. Section Ten. That all ordinances and parts of Ordinan-les in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section Eleven. This ordinance shall take effect and be in fall force from and after its publication once in the official city paper.
