An,Ordinance making a levy of taxes for general revenue
and other purposes.in.the City of Salina, Kansas,
for the year 1921.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City
of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1.
That the
sum of
.0072 mills on the dollar
be and the same
is hereby
levied
on all real, personal and
mixed property of whatsoever kind or nature, within the City
of Salina, Kansas,, for the year 1921, for the purposes
hereinafter set forth and apportioned and divided as follows:
For General Revenue ----------------------------

For General Improvements ------------------------

For the purpose of paying any existing legal
obligations of the City for water, light, heat
and pow-er supplied to the City -------------------

For the purpose of paying interest coupons as
they mature and all bonds of the City now or
that may be hereafter issued -------------------

For Library Fund ------------------------------

For 'Sinking Fund ------------------------------

For the purpose of raising funds for the mainte-
nance of a fire department, and for'the purchase

Section 2. That the sum of .OQ16,mills on the
dollar
be and the same is hereby levied on all real estate
in the
City of Salina, Kansas, for the year 1921 for the purpose of
paying the annual installments of and the interest on the
outstanding Sewer Bonds of the City.
Section 3. That the valuation of the property upon
which the foregoing taxes are levied and assessed, be in
all cases taken from the assessment rolls of the present
year in the office of the County Clerk of Saline County,
Kansas, and that it shall be the duty of the City Clerk of
the City of Salina, Kansas, immediately upon and after the
passage of this ordinance, and on or before the 25th day of
August, 1921, to transmit a duly certified copy of the same
to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas, so that the levy
may be placed upon the tax roll and the taxes collected accord-
ing to law.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its"publication once in the
offidial ''ity paper.

year 1921.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
