ORDINANCE 1i0 2367
An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain
claims.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the sum of $1,822.55 be and the same is
hereby appropriated out of the various departments of the Gener-
al Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer for the payment of the
following claims=

Section 2. That orders be drawn on the Uity Treasurer for

An ordinance regulating the crossing of railroad tracks by
pedestrians and drivers of vehicles and providing a pen-
alty for the violation thereof.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. Every driver of a vehicle and every pedestrian
on the streets of the City of Salina when approaching a railroad
crossing shall stop in obedience to any standard "stop" signals
orwarnings given by a watchman or flagman stationed in plain
view at such crossing, and shall not thereafter cross or attempt
to cross such crossing until by standard signalcsignaled so to
do by such watchman or flagman..
Section 2.. Any person wilfully violating any of the provi-
, sions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding
Fifty ($5 0..00) _ Dollars
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force .from and after its publication once in the official City
paper.
