ORDINANCE iVO. 2347 -
(Published in the Salina Evening Journal August 21, 1920)
An Ordinance levying special assessments against the property
herein described to pay the. cost of constructing and
repairing certain sidewalks in the City(of Salina, Kan-
sas,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That there be and ishereby levied and assessed
against each of the lots and ,parts of lots hereinafter described
a special tax or assessment for the purpose of paying the cost
of constructing and repairing certain sidewalks abutting said
property, by the City of Salina, Kansas, between the 18th day of
August, 1919 and the 16th day of .August, 1920, in the various
amounts set opposite the following described lots and parts of
lots, to -wit:

Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed andauthor-
ized to immediately certify the assessments made in Sect ion 1
of this ordinance to the County Clerk of Saline County, Kansas,
to be placed on the tax roll for collection, subject to the same
penalties and collected in like manner as othet taxes.
Sedtion 3._ This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the. Salina
Evening Journal.
