An ordnance relating to the salaries and compensation of of-
ficers and employees of the City of Salina, Kansas, and
repealing all ordinances in conflict herewith.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina,
Kansas:
Section 1�!: That the salaries or compensation of the vari-
ous officers and employees of the City of .Salina, Kansas, from

and after the 15th day of July, . 1920 shall be as follows and
.payable semi-monthly:
Section 2: The City Clerk shall receive the sum of One
Hundred Twenty -Five ($125.00) Dollars per month which shall be
in full compensation for all services.
Section 3-I�I, The City Attorney shall receive the sum of
One Hundred Twenty -Five (125,00) Dollars per month which shall
be in full compensation for all services.
Section 4: The Police . Ju d a -e shall receive the sum of Seven-
ty Five '(75.00) Dollars per month which shall be in full compen-
sa,t,ion for all services .
Section 5`: The City Treasurer shall receive the sum of
Four Hundred ($400.00) Dollars per year, which shall be in full
compensation for all services.
Section 6. The Stenographer for the City Clerk shall re-
ceive the sum of One Hundred (100.00) Dollars per month which
shall be in full compensation for all services.
Section 7. The Chief of Police shall receive th4 sum of

One Hundred Thirty (130.00) Dollars.per month which shall be in
full compensation for all services. The assistant chief of Po-
lice shall receive the sum of One Hundred Twenty ($120.00) Dollars
per month and each regular police shall receive the sum of One Hun-
dred Fifteen (115.00). per month. All traffic Officers shall re-
ceive Ninety (90.00) per month. Motorcycle policemen shall re-
ceive the sum of One Hundred (100.00) Dollars per month which
shall be in full compensation for their serivices and they shall
furnish their own motor cycle, keep the same in repair and pro-
vide oil and gas at their own expense.
Section _$' The Fire Chief shall receive the sum of One

Section 9. The park Commissioner shall receive the sum
of One Hundred (100.00) Dollars per month Which shall be in
full compensation for his services.
Section 10. The Custodian of the City Hall shall receive
the sum of One Hundred ($100.00).Dollars per month which shall
be in full compensation for his services.
Sect ion 11. The Street Commissioner shall receive the
sum of One Hundred Ten (110.00) Dollars per month which shall
be in' full compensation for his services. Foremen forstreet
work shall receive the. sum of Forty-f:iye`, (45¢) per hour; work-
man with team shall receive the sum of Seventy-five (75�) cents
per hour; laborers on the street . shall. receive the sum of For-
ty-five cents (45¢) _per hour, except laborers cleaning streets
with brooms, shovel and cart, who shall receive the sum of
Three and 20/100 ($3.20) Dollars, per day.

in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Sect ion 13. This ordinance: shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its,publication once in the official
City paper.

BE IT ORDAIRED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Salina,

Section 1. That the salaries or compensation of the
various officers and employees of the City of Salina, Kansas, from
and after the 15th day of July, 1920, shall be as follows and
