ORDINANCE NO. 2332
All ORDINANCE relating to the purchase of 'reserve lumber Two (2) in
Riverside Park Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, to be
used for park purposes.
SVHEREAS, at an election duly held in -Salina, Kansas, upon
the 6th day of April, 1920, the qualified electors of said City voted
in favor of the purchase of Reserve lumber Two (2) in Riverside Park
Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, to be used for park purposes,
and that the City pay therefor the sum of five Thousand 05000.00)
Dollars; and did upon said day authorize the Iayor and Council of
said City to issue the bonds of said City in said sum for such pur-
pose, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the City of Salim , Kansas, should and it
does hereby purchase of and from P. L. Gebhart,to be used for park
purposes, =.eserve ?',"umber Two (2) Riverside I'ark Addition to the City
of Salina, Kansas, at and for the price of Five ''Thousand (V 5000.00)
Dollars.
Section 2. Upon the execution and delivery of a good and
sufficient deed of general warranty with abstract showing merchantable
title in said P. L. Gebhart, the'%&,vor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized, directed and empowered to turn over and deliver unto P. L.
Gebhart the bonds of said City of Salina, Kansas, in the sum of Five
Thousand (4p5000.00) Dollars, bearing interest at the rate of four and
one-half (42) per cent per annum, payable semi-annually, said bonds
to be dated is y 1st, 1920 and due five (5) ,years after said date.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
