2329 Condemnationf ORDINANCE NO. 2329 (Published in the Salina Evening Journal, April 10th, 1920.) An ordinance providing for the condemnation and appropriation of certain lots and pieces of ground in the City of Salina, Kansas; for the purpose of opening and extend- ing Wilson Street from the east line of Santa Fe revenue to the east, line of Fourth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, and providing for the appointment of appraisers therefor. BE IT ORDr_UNED by the Mayor and Oouncilmen of the e;ity of Salina, Kansas: Section 1. 'hat` it is necessary and should be and is hereby appropriated and condemned for the purpose of opening and extending 'Wilson Street from the east side of Santa Fe Aven- ue to the east side of Fourth street in the City of Salina, Kan- sas, the following described lots and pieces of ground to -wit "The South two, and one-half (22) feet of Lots One and Two (1 and 2) in Block. (17) Hutchinson(s Addition to the vity , of Salina, Kansas; the South two and one-half (21) feet of Lot (1) Block (18) in Hutchinson's liddition to the city of Salina,, Kansas; the north thirty -seven -and one-half (371) feet of Lots One. (1) and Three (3) in Block !(15) in Hutchinson's Addition to the City of aalina, 4nsas, and the north thirty-seven and one-half (370 feet Lot (1), Block (16) in Hutchinson's -addi- tion to the Oity of Salina, Kansas.", Section 2. The May or by and with the consent of the Coun- cil shall appoint three disinterested appraisers and household- ers to assess the damages caused thereby and who shall ascert= ain the actual value of the land so taken, without reference to the projected improvements; and the actual damages done to all other property thereby; for the payment of such value and damages the appraisers shall assess against the City the amount of benefit to the public generally and the remainder of such amount shall be assessed against the property within the Benefit District to be created, which ,in their opinion, shall be especially benefited by the proposed improvements. Such appraisers shall make due report to the Mayor and Council of their proceedings. Section 3. BE IT ORDAINED by the 1°iayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina, Kansas: erection 1. That it is necessary and should be and is hereby appropriated and condemned for the purpose of opening and extending Wilson Street from the East side of Santa Fe Avenue to the East side of Fourth Street in the City of Salina, Kansas, the following described lots and pieces of ground, to -wit: "The South two and one-half (22) feet of Lots One and Two (1 and 2) in Block (17), Hutchinson's Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas; the South two and one-half (22) feet of Lot (1) Block (18) in Hutchinson's Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas; the Forth thirty-seven and one-half (372) feet of Lots One and Three. (1 and 3) in Block (15) in Hutchinson's Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas, and the north thirty-seven and one-half (372) feet of Lot (1), Block (16) in Hutchinson's Addition to the City of Salina, Kansas." Section 2.
