.gin ordinance relating to a. Municipal Band.
BE IT by the 1'•layor and Council of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the Irlayor and City Clerk of the city
of Salina, Kansas, are hereby authorized to enter into a
contract .in writing between the City of Salina, Kansas, and
The Salina Municipal Band for the giving of concerts by said
Band in said City for a period of five (5) years from the
date of said contract, which shall be dated July 1st, 1919,
and
to pay said
Band therefor a sum
not exceeding; Five Thous-
and
05,000.00)
Dollars per year.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its publication once in the off-
icial City paper.

ORDINANCE NO. 2320
An ordinance -relating to a municipal band:
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Salina, Kansas, are hereby authorized to enter into a contract in
writing between the City of Salina, Kansas, and The Salina IeIunicipal
Band for the giving of concerts by said Band in said City for a period
of _Sr years from the date of said contract, which shall be dated
July lst, 1919, and to pay said -Band therefor a sum not exceeding
Five Thousand (,,„5,000.00) Dollars per year.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in f Lill
force from and after its publication once in the official City paper.
