An ordinance', granting the right of way to The Union Pacific
Railroad Company and The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe
Railroad company their, successors a:ld assigns to con-
structs maintain and operate a joint switch track along
and across certain: streets in the City of Salina,
BE IT ORDAIt3Ell by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of
4alina, Kansas.
Sectio n 1. That the right of way be, and the same is
hereby granted to The Union.Pacific Railroad Company and The
Atchison; Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Company, the it succes-
sors and assigns, to build, maintain and operate jointly, a
switch track and to rum their trains, engines and cars there-
on, along North ''treet and cross Santa Fe Avenue in the City
of Salina, Kansas, between the present Union Pacific switch
track of The Robinson I.v1i11ing Company and The Atchison, To -
pekes and Santa Fe switch track No. 4, for The Shellabarger
Milling Company. Said switch so to be constructed to be
connected with the Union Pacific switch for The Robinson
Milling Company at a point approximately 77 feet west of the
west line of Santa Fe Avenue and to be connected with The
4tohison, To'peka and Santa 1''e Railroad switch track r?o. 4,
at a point approximately 100 feet east of the east line of
Santa Fe Avenue.
Section 2. Said switch track to be built and construct-
ed-in'accordance with the plans and specifications of the
City Engineer and the Street and Alley Committee of the city
of Salina, Kansas relative to the raildroad crossings on
paved streets in the City of Salina.
Section 3. This ordinance when accepted, shall oper-
ate as a contract between said railroad companies and said
City.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper.

Kansas, do hereby cerify that the foregoing is a true and cor-
rect copy of Ordinance No. 2300 passed by the Council and ap-
proved by the Mayor of the city of Salina,. Kansas, December
1st2 1919, and that a record of the vote on its final adoption
is found on Page Z of Journal No. 9. Said ordinance was
published in The Salina Evening Journal December /p 1919.

An ordinance granting the right of way to The Union Pacific
Railroad Company and The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad
Company their successors and assigns to construct, maintain and
operate a joint switch track along and across certain streets in
the City of Salina.
Be it ordained by the 'Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina
Kansas.

Of Salina.
