BE IT ORDAIivED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Salina:
section'',', 1. That the Mayor, by and with the consent of
the Council, shall appoint some person, a citizen and resident
of the City of Salina, Kansas, to act as Fuel Administrator.
Sectift2. As soon as said appointment is made and ac-
cepted the fuel administrator .shall cause all fuel dealers to
report to him the amount of coal or other fuel which they may
have on hand and shall require reports from such dealers at
such times as he may deem advisable specifying the amount of
coal or other fuel which they have have in stock. All persons
desiring fuel''shail give their order to the Fuel Ad_ministraotor
and he shall authorize and direct any dealer to furnish the
amount of fuel to such person ordering the same as the admin-
istrator may deem advisable and proper. The fuel administrator
may take such steps as he may deem advisable to acquire fuel
of any kind or nature and shall have exclusive charge of the
procural and disposition thereof and full authority to fix the'
price at which such fuel shall be sold. He may also make such
other rules, regulations or requirements as may be by him deemed
advisable to candle the emergency.
Section 3. The fuel administrator shall receive as fuI.1
compensation for his services the sum of 4100.00 per month to
be paid semi-monthly as such other bills for salaries against
said City are 'presented and paid.
Section '4: `I his ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official
City paper.
