ORDIN4NCE NO. 2281
(Published in the Salina Evening Journal August 1919)
An ordinance establishing a grade on certain streets ' in the
City of Salina,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYCRAND COUNCILMEN, OF CITY OF SALINA;
Section 1. That a grade be and •is, hereby established on
State .Street, commencing at the intersection of the center line -
of 'State Street Frith. College Avenue at an elevation of 101
20/100 feet; thence west by a uniform grade to West Place; to
an elevation of 99-85/100 feet ; thence west by uniform grade
to the Missouri Facific Railroad track to an ele'ation 'of 103
25/100 feet; thence west by uniform grade to the west side of
Chicago Avenue to an elevation of 99-25100 feet; thence west
by a uniform grade to the alley west of Olive Street to an ele--
vat ion of 105-35100 feet.
Section 2.'".That a grade be and is hereby established
at Fifth.Street commencing at intersection of the center line
of Fifth Street with Bond Avenue, at an elevation of 106-70/100.
feet; thence south by uniform grade to a point 800 feet south
of the intersection of Bond Street and Fifth Street to an ele-
vation of 106-70/100 feet; thence south by uniform grade to
Republic Avenue toY an elevation .of 108-70/100 feet.
Section 3.'�A.11'elevations mentioned herein are referred
to the "City Dench Marktas established by ordinance.
Section 4. The grade line as hereby established shall
be for the center line or crown of the street and for the top
of the curb stones.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the official''
City paper.

Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina.
Sec. 1. That a grade be and is hereby established on State
Street, commencing at the intersection of the center line of State

feet; thence West by uniform grade to the Missouri Pacific Rail-
road track to an elevation of 103 25/100 feet; thence West by
uniform grade to the West side of Chicago Avenue to an elevation
of 99 25/100 feet; thence West by uniform grade to the alley West
of Olive Street to an elevation of 105 35/100 feet.
